Each of our Chem-Dry locations are individually owned and operated. When you make a purchase with one of our Chem-Dry locations, you enter a contract with the local business operating that franchise. With every purchase you can enjoy the reassurance that your purchase supports your local business and the endlessly hard-working families behind it.
Purchases made through the Chem-Dry website are a contract between client and Chem-Dry (New Zealand) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Flooring Xtra Licensing Limited (Flooring Xtra).
Acceptance of Terms & Conditions
The Terms and Conditions are the terms on which Chem-Dry offers you access to the services (“services”) of the chemdry.co.nz website. By accessing and interacting with the website or using the Services, you accept these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms and conditions, you must refrain from accessing and browsing the website. Without limiting our other rights and remedies we may refuse to supply any product or service, and we may deny access to this website, to anyone who breaches these Terms.
Amendment of Terms & Conditions
Due to the ever changing commercial, technological and regulatory environment, these Terms & Conditions may be amended from time to time. Amendments will be posted here and will be effective immediately without notice. The updated version of these Terms will supersede all prior versions. At the top of this page you will find the last date of update.
Ordering Goods and Services from Chem-Dry | General
When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods or services. An order is placed on our website via adding a product to the shopping cart and proceeding through our checkout process. The checkout process includes giving us delivery and other relevant details for your order, entering payment information and submitting your order.
Products displayed on the site shopping areas can be purchased using the secure online MasterCard, Visa and LayBuy transaction facilities. Customers can be confident that all of their details are protected by the latest security mechanisms and are used only for purposes of the transaction fulfilment.
We do not supply trade quantities and reserve the right to limit the number of an item customers can purchase in a single transaction.
We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received and accepted your order, which indicates that your order has been accepted and you may not cancel it.
We will take payment from you when we accept your order.
Cancelling orders, exchanges, refunds and items on sale
We reserve the right to refuse to fill any orders that you may place based on incorrect information on the website, orders that we believe, solely by our own judgement, to be placed in bad faith or for commercial purposes, e.g. any kind of reseller or competitor. We also reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders that we believe, solely by our own judgement, to have been placed fraudulently.
While we endeavour to ensure that the price and description of goods or services is accurate, if there is an error in the process of listing a product or service on our website or a technical error in the processing of your order we reserve the right to refuse or cancel the order.
Chem-Dry reserves the right to withdraw any product from sale at any time without notice for any reason.
Our right to cancel orders applies to orders that have been accepted.
If we discover an error or we are unable to fulfil the order we will attempt to contact you and cancel the order and you will receive a full refund in the form of the original payment method. If your order is cancelled in accordance with these Terms, your payment will be refunded, crediting your original method of payment. If payment was made using a credit card that card issuer controls the timing of the refund.
If you wish to cancel your order you will need to contact the Chem-Dry web team marketing@chemdry.co.nz to discuss your request with them. If we can cancel your order at our discretion, any associated freight, restocking and administration fees will be at your expense.
Any item on sale cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturing fault. Please choose carefully.
Returns will not be accepted unless the goods supplied do not meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
We have 3 rules of returns and exchanges:
1.Item(s) must be returned within 7 days of delivery;
2.Item(s) must be unused and in new condition with any original tags and labelling still attached; and
3.Item(s) must be in their original packaging which must be in original condition. This includes all packaging, such as branded dust bags, branded plastic bags, unbranded bags, clear plastic and boxes.
If your item(s) matches all of these conditions, you can lodge a return or exchange. To request a return or exchange, please email marketing@chemdry.co.nz your order number and request. Returns remain the responsibility of the purchaser until received by Chem-Dry.
Items purchased online cannot be returned to our physical Chem-Dry locations.
Refunds will be issued at the discretion of Chem-Dry.
Delivery | Online Purchases
Title and risk in a product purchased from this website passes to you once we have received full payment for the product and the product has been dispatched from Chem-Dry. Dispatch times may vary according to availability and we take no responsibility for any delays in delivery.
If any goods arrive damaged, please contact marketing@chemdry.co.nz within 24 hours of delivery. The item will be collected, assessed and Chem-Dry will arrange a replacement or refund the purchase price to you, at our election.
Currently products are not available for delivery outside of New Zealand. If you are interested in shipping items overseas, please contact marketing@chemdry.co.nz. Any international purchases may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified designation. You will be responsible for payment of these duties and taxes.

While we endeavour to ensure that information provided through the website is accurate and current, errors and omissions may occur. Chem-Dry does not accept any liability, direct or indirect, for any loss or damage which may directly or indirectly result from any advice, opinion, information, representation or omission whether negligent or otherwise, contained on this site. You are solely responsible for the actions you take in reliance on the content on, or accessed, through this site. For example (but without limitation):
Prices of products and services may change, and all products and services are subject to availability;
Variations to products and services may occur from time to time for various reasons (including changes in product specifications);
Description of products are summaries only (with further information available on request); and
Due to technical or human error, information may be recorded incorrectly or omitted.
We do not accept responsibility for any loss suffered as a result of reliance on the accuracy, adequacy, completeness or currency of information on this website.

Pricing
All prices and delivery charges on our site are in New Zealand dollars (NZ$) and include New Zealand GST (if any). We reserve the right to alter prices and delivery charges for any reason at any time. If this should happen after you have placed an order, we will contact you prior to processing it.
Not all items or services are available through all Chem-Dry locations. Pricing may differ from location to location due to each Chem-Dry location being individually owned and operated.
All products and offers shown on this website are subject to availability and may not be available at all locations. We cannot guarantee that your chosen items or services will be in stock or available when you order from this website.
Contracts for the purchase of products using the Service, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formulation, will be governed by New Zealand law. Any such dispute or claim shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
Discount Codes & Offers
We may from time to time offer limited promotional discount codes which may be used to purchase items on this website. The conditions of use relating to any discount code will be specified at the time of issue. Discount codes can only be used for online purchase and are not redeemable at our physical Chem-Dry locations unless otherwise specified.
All Chem-Dry promotions and offers are for a limited time only and while stocks last. Chem-Dry reserves the right to terminate, suspend or modify the promotion or offer without notice. All promotions and offers are non-transferable or redeemable for cash.
